Guess who has just decided to retire? If you guessed David Hamilton Longley you guessed correctly. I’m closing my private counseling practice effective April 1. It will be a pretty strange sensation since that’s all I’ve done since 1968. It was just time to move on and I have no idea what I’m moving on to I contemplated going to medical school but by the time I was ready to practice I would be 82. That’s maybe a little bit old to start a brand-new career. Maybe instead I should get my PhD in Rebellious Studies because you never too old to become a rebel and I really don’t know if that would suit my conforming personality I would probably have to stretch out a bit but then I can probably do that. This is a nice time in life to start his second career as far as I can see. But then I don’t always see well.
Keep the faith

(((((Daver)))) You can just become a full time Grampa!!! It’s the most important job in the world! :celebrate:
I never see you as too old for anything at all. But, you are going to do what ever the heck you are going to do. You have my support. Even if it is subliminally.
one can only hope they have the dynamism and optimism of spirit that you have, when a person get to a comparable point on the journey of life…..congratulations on your retirement and un-retirement. our bodies may get old, but we can choose to have energy in spitit and dynamism in our attitude towards life.
Peace my friend,
