I rebooted my voice-activated program and wonder if it will be better this time around. It still wants to use an old profile, but we will see what happens. Our journey to Seattle to see our kids and grand kids was quite nice and very busy. Lover had stomach flu most of the time we were there. Our grand kids are most active and basically don’t stop to catch their breaths from awakening to sleeping. Both are quite special but Rouxs disease is beginning to be more and more apparent. He now has to do stretching exercises every night and they are painful and he doesn’t like them at all. His balance is not as good as it was in October when I was in Tacoma and he is pretty close to having to take steroids to avoid a wheelchair for another year or so. They will give him a new sense of strength but it won’t last a long time. I was his major caretaker and lover took care of Finn. We had quite a special time lots of time walking to town and scoping out places such as Starbucks. He is almost four and a bit large for a stroller but we needed to take it any way because physically I can no longer carry him three or four blocks when he becomes too tired to walk. We read lots of books and his current favorite is Skippy Jon Jones which is about kitty who looks like a Chihuahua and bounces to Mars. He has some cognitive and language difficulties and is going to a special school and the results so far been amazing. I’m pretty sure he realizes that he is different than other kids but I don’t think he knows what to do with this information because he can’t bring it into his consciousness. He really is a very sweet child.
I bought myself a Christmas present which is a college-level course of sentence construction data. I’m excited to see if I can renew my writing skills and redevelop a lot of creativity that has fallen by the wayside as I have suffered a decrease in both the quantity and quality of my writing. As most of you know I have spent the past seven or eight years reading and studying the Tao Te Ching. As a result of these studies my lifestyle simplified immensely and the main order of the day for an aspiring Taoist is to complete the task in front of them to do and not feel as if it is important to complete unnecessary tasks. So instead of easily writing paragraphs I reduced my writing to a few simple sentences and realize what suffers is not my writing but, my relationships. So I ended the process of flowing on the periphery of life and plan to redevelop a protocol of engagement. My current plan is to resume blogging at least three times a week. I think during my next blog I will see how many sentences I can write about the statement Whiskey For Breakfast.
Keep the faith

There was once a band in this area called Whiskey for Breakfast! Blogging does improve ones writing, that is for sure. Your holiday in Washington sounds wonderful and exhausting. But the best kind of exhausting. Your time with Roux and Finn improves everyone’s moral and spirits. I am sure their parents appreciate the time you gave them. A gift of love and presence.
